The kanokwalee Etsy shop - crochet works of art inspired by nature.

I want to share with you a fabulous etsy shop that I've seen before and have always admired. I finally had a chance to offer the creator of these pieces of art a feature on my blog, and I'm so glad she accepted!

Please take a look at these wonderful, almost fantasy-like creations that are inspired by nature. Most of them are cool enough for summer wear, and anyone who wears them is bound to be noticed! I'm showcasing some cool, soothing colors that are just right for summer.

Enjoy, and have a safe holiday weekend, everyone!

Two treasuries!

My Gladraggz shop was in two treasuries the last few days! First I'd like to thank blythehopesvintage for including my silk ribbon embroidery bag in her gorgeous Etsy treasury, which now appears to have become "Tuesday Trends" You can see it here:

Ribbon Embroidery Treasury:

This silk bag seems to be a favorite, and has a lot of hearts. For those of you who are among its admirers, please note that it comes with a free quilted storage bag.

Although my bag isn't true ribbon embroidery, it has the appearance of this fine neede art. Ribbon embroidery tradtionally is done with fine silk ribbon, because no other material dyes so well or achieves the fine drape that silk does. Stitching with silk creates the feminine and elegant look, and as far as I know, it's impossible to achieve the look of ribbon embroidery by machine. Whenever you see it, you know that someone has worked long and hard for that little bit of Heaven!

Please stop by the blythehopesvintage Etsy shop. Although it's primarily stocked with vintage clothing, there are few pretty pieces of lace and ribbon (embroidery). Here's an example:

I also want to thank the graceraecreations Etsy shop for featuring my newest "Watermelon" purse, (featured in my previous blog post). You can see the treasury here:

Hot Pink and Lime Green:

Please stop by her shop to see an adorable collection of head and hair accessories:

Also, stop by my shops if you have a chance - I have some new items, and they are very affordable! I'll be sharing more about them soon.

For now, have a good day, everyone!

When it rains, it pours...

Heartfelt thanks to Em of ElsaAndEm's Etsy shop for including one of my winter hats in her adorable treasury!  My hat is the center most "treasure" among an adorable collection of cute and colorful creations.

You can see the treasury, entitled "Friendly friends from Facebook" here:

As you know, I'm a dog lover. So, it's no surprise that ElsaAndEm's shop struck a joyous note with me. I think she's done a find job of stocking her shop with cute and fashionable dog clothes, harnesses and more. Elsa is the model, by the way. :-)
