Making summer purses

Since I've made so many winter purses, I'm more than overdue for making summer items. I purchased this pretty pattern on one, but had to contact the designer about a bit of difficulty I was having with the assembly. Sometimes mess-ups lead to exciting new results, and the designer was so stunned and pleased by the outcome that she wants to include it in her on-line showcase.

Anyway, here's the finished product, which is now in my Etsy, Shophandmade and 1000markets shops. I wanted something very summery, (and that says "summer vacation"), and I think this captures the mood.
